How to Run SIMUL8 inside PowerPoint.

First of all, you need to insert the link to the right file. Do this by selecting Insert in PowerPoint and then selecting Object.
Click on Create from File and browse for the Simul8 file you want to open (make sure you get the .s8 file not the backup file.
This should insert an icon into your presentation. While the icon is selected (indicated by the 6 square boxes around it) select Tools, Interactive settings from the menu. If the icon isn't selected click on it so that you get the 6 square boxes around it. Select Object Actions, Activate Contents.

Now, run PowerPoint in Slide Show. The S8 icon should appear and when you click on it will run the file you selected.
